Disclaimer: This is a natural wooden product. Due to the nature of such, slabs may have cracks or splits not visible in the photos. While most people want such character, if this is an issue, please let us know and we will check the slab for you. 

Being real wood, it is highly advised not to lay the unfinished slab flat on anything (workbench, floor, etc.) or finishing (sealing) only one side as it may cause warping or twisting.

Working with live edge wood

Every slab is a single piece of real wood, so grain, color and natural features like checks or voids are part of its character. Sizes and weights are approximate.

  • Don't lay an unfinished slab flat on a workbench or floor, and finish both sides so it stays flat.
  • Acclimate it indoors for a few days before you flatten or finish it.

Flattening, finishing & custom work
